Passionate About Inspiring Others
Socrates once wrote, "The unexamined life is not worth living." Those words wormed into my conscious, taunting me into one of the most daunting of tasks, one of self-reflection. It requires stepping away from distraction and turning inward. Be forewarned --- the journey may reveal tendencies, trauma, motivations, and desires you were not aware influenced your daily decisions and relationships. But peeling back the layers through meditation, movement, and journaling can begin a process of healing, focus, and motivation that is transformative.

My personal period of self reflection and reevaluation arrived at a moment when I faced pivotal choices in my life. Personal stressors and environmental factors were pulling me in different directions. I felt helpless against the tide of life, until I recognized that I was in fact in control of my reactions. I decided it was time to examine my life to find my core beliefs and drill down on what truly mattered to me. Self reflection is a life-long practice, but the impact can be felt fairly quickly. As I appreciated the transformative power of this process, I felt called to share my insight with others. I believe everyone can benefit from taking the time to inventory their internal dialogue, practice mindful movement, and processing through writing. I am excited to share an approach that I found beneficial in hopes that it is life-changing for others.
At MMJ I am passionate about providing a plan, resources and support to guide others through their personal practices of meditation, movement, and journaling. The MMJ month plan is the perfect starting point to understand the approach. All of the resources throughout the website are designed to facilitate your practices. I applaud you for taking this step towards a better you ---- one that understands who you are, what motivates you, and what steps you intend to take toward achieving the life you dream of living. You are not alone in this journey; we are here to support you!
